Miscellaneous Weekend and Cheese Trivia?

Trivia of the day:

What animal’s call does not echo?

A duck’s quack.

Fun little trivia that I probably would have to say I personally would have never thought to ask myself. But thanks to my Stringsters trivia, I have something new to learn every time I eat a string cheese stick. Good times.

This past weekend was a long weekend for me. Yea bank holidays! Unfortunately they always go by much too quickly and then what is suppose to be a short work week, almost feels twice as long. But I shouldn’t complain. I got to sleep in a little bit longer and I didn’t have to get up and get ready to be anywhere, so it was great.

So our weekend was pretty relaxing and we didn’t have any major plans. The dollar theatre finally has a couple of decent movies that we wanted to see, so Russell and I went and saw Four Christmases on Friday. Overall I would say it was okay, but it’s definitely not my most favorite Reese Witherspoon movie, and I don’t know, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. Next is James Bond, which I am guessing I will like much more. Saturday we pretty much spent cleaning, doing a little grocery shopping, going out to dinner to Grand Lux café and going to Best Buy. The latter two were many thanks to wonderful gift cards we had for both. The Grand Lux café’ is a sister restaurant of the Cheesecake factory and it pretty much has the same feel and portions. I didn’t take a picture of Russell’s but I got a potpie and pretty much had enough for a few meals. As for Best Buy, Russell got Colonization; we got Monopoly for the Wii, and also Mahjong Tiles. Fun times.

On Sundays, our church meeting times have been moved to the afternoon, unfortunately for me. I much prefer morning church, but I suppose I don’t have much of a say in the matter. So Russell had a meeting in the morning, then we went to church, came home, made some dinner and watched some pre-recorded television that we are not always able to watch during the week.
"Hottie Patotie Russell"

Also earlier in the week, I had run out of my foundation and on a separate occasion my base eye shadow and concealer. Now Russell has no idea why it’s necessary to have concealer and foundation, or a foundation base for your eye shadow or lots of different makeup for that matter. He once asked me, “So, did someone just tell you that you had to put that on, so you would buy it?” He thinks it’s a conspiracy, but I tell him how much it benefits my scary morning face and even helps some guys, but he won’t let me try it on him ;) I digress though ….I had run out and never got around to going to the mall and getting more. When I got home and later looked at my makeup bag, it overflowith with new makeup. He had taken the empty bottles to the Mac counter and got new ones for me. So sweet. Just had to let you all know that’s one of the many ways Russell is so good to me. I lerve him!
