Family

"If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. … It becomes special because you have made it so."

FaMiLiEs!

Today's topic of assignment for Sacrament Meeting was on the family.

It was great to hear the speakers' words and be reminded of the importance of our families and what we really should be focusing on while we are here on earth.

- Be CONSISTENT in holding daily family prayer and weekly family home evening

- Teach the gospel and basic values in our home

-Create meaningful family bonds

- Know that our Father in Heaven loves us and wants us to succeed

- Our Savior died for us, so that we could experience this life and return to our Father

What matters most is what lasts longest, and our families are for eternity!

"If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You don’t expose it to the elements. You don’t make it common or ordinary. If it ever becomes tarnished, you lovingly polish it until it gleams like new. It becomes special because you have made it so, and it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by."
